Notaryco ("Notaryco," "we," "us," or "our") provides notarial and Remote Online Notarization ("RON") services in the State of Florida. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect through our website and in the course of providing notarial services, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Perform requested notarial acts and verify signer identity as required by Florida law
  • Schedule and administer in-person and remote notarization appointments
  • Maintain the notary journal and audio-visual recordings required by Florida RON law
  • Communicate with you about appointments, services, and billing
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and record-retention obligations
  • Improve our website and services
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support

We do not use your information to provide legal advice or to interpret the meaning, validity, or effect of any document. Notaryco is not a law firm and does not review documents for legal sufficiency.

3. Remote Online Notarization Platform

Remote notarizations are conducted through Blue Notary, a Florida-approved RON platform, rather than through general video conferencing tools. When you schedule a remote notarization, your identity verification data, session recording, and related records are processed and stored by Blue Notary in accordance with its own privacy policy and Florida's RON statutory requirements. We encourage you to review Blue Notary's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.

4. Record Retention

As a Florida Notary Public, we are required by law to retain certain records, including:

  • The notary journal, for at least 10 years from the date of the notarial act
  • Audio-visual recordings of RON sessions, for at least 10 years from the date of the notarization

These records may be requested by courts, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities as permitted or required by law.

  • Blue Notary and other service providers who help us deliver notarial and RON services
  • Payment processors, for billing purposes
  • Government or regulatory authorities, courts, or law enforcement, when required by law or legal process
